Do you dress with your significant other?
Spark Global Limited Reports:
Fashion in a relationship is a funny thing. Maybe you like your partner’s style, even if it doesn’t match your own. Or you’ve gone to great lengths to get them to throw out that item of clothing you hate, or bought them a few new clothes as gifts to get their point across. Other couples have the same style and personality.
If you’ve ever been to South Korea, you may have noticed that some Korean couples dress very similarly — that’s because many people use “matching outfits” to show the world that they’re a couple. But this is not just happening in Asia. French couple and creative photography duo Nelson Tiberghien and Isabelle Chaput — who are known as the “Young Emperors” on Instagram — often share their matching looks. While the couple never set out to become an Internet sensation (they’ve amassed 14,000 followers in just five months), they did notice that the longer they worked together, the more coordinated their outfits became – and eventually fell in love. Both companies typically focus on denim, coordinated color schemes and neutral styles like button-down shirts that make waking up and matching — sometimes even manicures — look easy.
Before that, we traded some DM’s with the duo to learn more about what it’s like to work with your significant other. Whether or not you want to start pairing up with your significant other, there’s no doubt that this couple and their style will fascinate you.
