Black box of the Indonesian airliner was found more than 2 months
Overseas Network, March 31. The Indonesian Ministry of Transport said on the 31st that they had found another black box of the Srivijaya Airliner that crashed in January this year.
According to reports from Al Jazeera and other media, the Minister of Transport of Indonesia stated that the cockpit voice recorder found confirmed its position later on the 30th and was salvaged ashore on the morning of the 31st. The person in charge of the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee said that they will bring the cockpit voice recorder to the laboratory, and it will take 3 days to a week to process the data. The black box previously found in Indonesia was a flight data recorder, which was discovered three days after the accident.
On January 9, local time, a 26-year-old Boeing 737-500 passenger plane of Indonesia’s Sabah Airways crashed shortly after takeoff. There were 62 people on board, including 56 passengers and 6 crew members.
